Tags Page

Select Tags from the left-side UI menu to access the Tags page. This page lists the Okera tags defined in your Okera environment. Tags are used to control access to data through attribute-based access control (ABAC). By assigning tags to databases, datasets, or individual data columns and then creating a permission based on those tags, you can limit or transform the data that users can view. For complete information about tag management and permissions, see Manage Tags and Manage Data Permissions.

Using the Tags page, you can:

• Create a new tag (select the button).

• Review details about a tag (select the tag in the list of tags). The details appear on the right.

• Add automatic tagging rules for the tag (select in the details for the tag). For more information about how autotagging works, see Configure Autotagging.

• Delete a tag (select in the details for the tag).
