Select Use of Policy Synchronization in Your Okera Connection

When you create your Snowflake connection, you may need to select the Snowflake policy enforcement mechanism used for the connection.

Important

SaaS customers should not do this. SaaS customers automatically use Okera's policy synchronization enforcement for Snowflake connections, so it is already selected for use. SaaS customers cannot use BI gateway (pushdown processing) for Snowflake. However, the policy synchronization enforcement mechanism must be explicitly selected by non-SaaS customers who want to use it.

To select the policy synchronization enforcement mechanism for Snowflake, okera.policy_sync.enabled=true must be specified as an advanced property in Okera's connection definition for Snowflake. See Create a Snowflake Connection.
